Other Protocols

If the standard PLC protocols or the local IO connector are not supported by your PLC, there are two more protocols that can be used to acquire field data.

The Ewon gateway is able to get or post data using the following protocols:

  • HTTP

    If your field device features a web server, the Ewon gateway is able to get or post data using HTTP protocol through BASIC scripting or JAVA....

    If your field device features an FTP server, the Ewon gateway is able to download and/or upload files using FTP protocol through BASIC scripting or JAVA....
